Hey guys! whats the latest CompGeeks.com savings code??

I've got a package put together for someone, and a code could save him a bundle.

I remember that one Grin I live about 10 mins from Compgeeks and pick my stuff up, which is nice. Their warehouse is HUGE. MASSIVE.

lucky bastage!

I wish I lived near any sort of store/shop with good PC deals. The local shops charge you 2x the retail online price for anything. Just last week I stopped in one to look around, and they had KT133A mobo's "onsale" for $150. Thunderbird 1200mhz CPU's for $130. 8x4x48 burners for $99.

God forbid something fries on ya around here and that you need a replacement part like "right now".

Hell, I'd settle for a Circuit City, Best Buy, or CompUsa...

knight0334, I thought you lived here in the U.S.?

No Crapusa close by??

There's two geek stores here in the twin cities.....1 is "fairly" well stocked with up to date products and fair prices (the markup is'nt too bad), the other has well stocked shelves but the prices are WAY out of line. If I need something RIGHT NOW I'll go to the 1st one, otherwise...newegg.com!

CompUSA is a rip, too... I saw some of their stuff the other day... $20 for one rounded IDE cable, $12 for an LED fan... The mainstream stuff is not as blatantly inflated, but there are no deals there... unless you trust a rebate!

The local stores here dont carry any rounded cables, LED stuff, or any other trick componants. You're lucky if you can find anything made within the last year or so here.

LOL I haven't found any good local PC stores here in Sac... all the ones I find are way over priced, and really don't know their stuff. So I'm forced to trek on out to Fry's and deal with them...

Hhhhhhhhhh.... I guess it could be worse. This is the one thing I miss about living in So. Cal (and it is the ONLY thing I miss).

location= DuBois/Brookville, PA. Closest city with a population over 10K is 60+ miles away. State College and Altoona, PA. Either of those cities would have a CompUSA or BestBuy.
