mysql error

I got the following error several times today. I'm on my mothers machine in Washington so it may be an IDtenT error.

Warning: mysql_connect(): Can't connect to local MySQL server through socket '/var/lib/mysql/mysql.sock' (111) in /home/bigbruin/public_html/forum/db/mysql4.php on line 48

Looks like MySQL did crash a while ago... I was napping and missed it, but will check out the errors now!
