soon my sig will have 64 - 3700, ASUS A8N SLI Premium, and Asus Extreme EN7800GT in it. Still pondering on the CPU cooler though, probably keep the stock one for now. _________________ A8N SLI Premium, 64 - 3700, 160g sata hd, 1 GB 3200 cl 2.5, Asus Extreme EN7800GT, 19" Acicero and win xp

Sweet deal. It'll be a long time before I upgrade. May the funds be with you _________________ Nothing says good job like a firm open palmed slap on the behind. |

Agreed, rock solid.
However, when I can take *almost* any memory to 300+ and not even try, and get the smallest of processors to 2700Mhz minimum...
Ok, what I'm trying to say is, all the world records are held by the DFI SLI board... what would be more stable at stock than a board that is proven, with tons of very tight custom BIOSes...
Read this thread of Modulok deciding on a board and see what conclusion he came to...
http://www.bigbruin.com/forum/viewtopic.php?t=7617
The Asus board is good, the DFI is unbeatable...
I invite anyone to go look through the colorful part of the first post in this thread an tell me what the HUGE majority of motherboards is represented.
In my opinion, a board that can do those things is going to be THE MOST STABLE BOARD STOCK hands down... |

I only got mine to 2440mhz at 305*8 stable...but very little effort, extra 440mhz. |

Yep I agree with modulok....My winchester 3000+ only got to 2400MHz (300x8) with a gain of only 600MHz with very minimal effort.
Also the boards cost the same, so why not go with the DFI board? |

Why? Simple, Its black and blue, like my case I am not a "big" overclocker so ASUS is the board for me _________________ A8N SLI Premium, 64 - 3700, 160g sata hd, 1 GB 3200 cl 2.5, Asus Extreme EN7800GT, 19" Acicero and win xp
