yeah, cheap computing is something very important for the future- not just for third world countries either. with the growing prominence of the internet everyone should have onem especially once city-wide wi-fi gets going...

plus, to just get online and check mail you don't need very much at all, i still have Pentium boxes lying around that do the job...
