I want to put AVI's, MPEG's and WMV files on a DVD...

Um... yea, like it says I have a huge noumber of AVI's, MPEG's, and WMV's that I would like to be able to play on a regular DVD home player...

What is the quickest, simplest way to get all of that on a DVD?

I have Nero 6 Ultra and it tells me I need to author them first before burning???

Since you have Nero, you also have Nero VisionExpress 3

Use that to create your DVD with menu's, along with animated menu buttons, and background music.

Something more professional you can get something by Sonic DVDIT, but it's fairly expensive, or even better Ulead DVD Workshop (best I've ever seen/used).

Generally though, I use Nero VisionExpress 3 the most.

I have checked all the menus and all that for Nero and I dont see the Vision express??? How do I get it started?

It is usually a separate download. Generally I believe it's free if you have the Ultra Edition, but you might be able to get it free or as a trial with the others.

Yea, it's a free download from Nero. VisionExpress 2 was included on my cd for Nero, but 3 is the updated version, and MUCH better than 2.
