It was a damned fine homer by Boone and quite the comeback. Apparently the CURSE still lives. I'm not really a fan of any of the teams that were in the playoffs though, Go PADRE's (no laughing please!, I'm serious!!!!)
I'm not a Yankees fan myself but for the first time EVER I'm rooting for the American League to win the World Series. Just thought it would be nice for Roger Clemens to end his career with a World Series win

I'm with you on that one Heylinder, I was feeling a little bad for him when he walked off the mound in the 4th. Glad to see that he gets another chance.

I cant stand the Yankee's, mostly because of jeter and torre..but it would be nice for clemens.
Although the best possible outcome would have been boston and chicago. I guess thats just not happening. It was unbelievable to me that boston lost... why why why would you put wakefield; a knuckleballer(the slowest pitch in baseball) in to try and hold the yankees off. It doesnt make sense.. one floating knuckler later and boone crushes it upper deck, game over.. Just completly dissapointing.
