On my laptop that is the highest resolution available is there anyway that I can get it one nich higher I have a screen shot of my display properties.

click advanced...then the monitor tab and raise your refresh rate...that should help ya out...

UUmm how is changing the refresh rate going to effect resolution?

Unless there is a driver update for the video on the lappie I think you are pretty much stuck. Most lappies or LCD monitors dont like running at anything other than their native or default resolution. Some will but often with tearing and other issues.

it does...if you ahev the refresh rate set too low sometimes it wont let you use high resolution...

it detects the card as a mobility 9000..maby his monitor wont let him do more...
