I just acquired a Barton 2500+ system with a crappy mobo. I'm not looking to OC as i have always screwed up my chips when I did. Anywho, what's a good mobo in the $100-150USD range?

Also, should I consider going with something other than AGP? I've been out of the loop so please educate me.

Thanks. Confused Confused Confused Confused Confused

I don't know if you can get anything but AGP for Socket A boards... so no need to strain on that subject.

What about the DFI Infinities? People seem to dig them... Like Spire!

I have a Gigabyte 9600XT and it is/was pretty sweet... But, it can't even finish 3DMark05! Laughing My Geforce FX5500 OC can, and I believe BOTH XGI cards I now have can... Bang Head

Going from a 7000 pci, this thing rocks. I can play Americas Army with all the settings at max @ 1280 x 1224. and the HL2 demo with no problems. Its a great budget card. I give it a thumb and a half ( the best I can do with half a thumb Rolling Eyes )
