|
|
I just acquired a Barton 2500+ system with a crappy mobo. I'm not looking to OC as i have always screwed up my chips when I did. Anywho, what's a good mobo in the $100-150USD range?
Also, should I consider going with something other than AGP? I've been out of the loop so please educate me.
Thanks. _________________

I have a Gigabyte 9600XT and it is/was pretty sweet... But, it can't even finish 3DMark05! My Geforce FX5500 OC can, and I believe BOTH XGI cards I now have can... |

Going from a 7000 pci, this thing rocks. I can play Americas Army with all the settings at max @ 1280 x 1224. and the HL2 demo with no problems. Its a great budget card. I give it a thumb and a half ( the best I can do with half a thumb ) _________________ A8N SLI Premium, 64 - 3700, 160g sata hd, 1 GB 3200 cl 2.5, Asus Extreme EN7800GT, 19" Acicero and win xp

I see that their is no trial version of 3DMark05. Now I want to see if my card will finish it. _________________ A8N SLI Premium, 64 - 3700, 160g sata hd, 1 GB 3200 cl 2.5, Asus Extreme EN7800GT, 19" Acicero and win xp
