I was up at 5AM waiting on DigitalEclipse (or whatever his name is here) to call and say he was going to go check out the madness that is black friday, but he didn't so I went out myself at about 5:50.

First place I went was Office Depot, they were a little crowded, but not bad. Second in line was Best Buy. Yikes

I saw this and, like the guy in the white truck, just drove back around and left.

There is an empty lot between Best Buy and that other building and the line went past it AND past the other building (around the corner of it).

I went to Circuit City after that, then stopped at the mall on the way back. Both were pretty crowded, but not too bad.
I went back to Best Buy at around 8:40 and there was STILL a line out the door. It was only to the end of the Best Buy building though, so I went ahead and joined the fun. Five minutes later I was in. Laughing

Reason 1 why all shopping centers, malls and anything of the such is 100% off limits to me now until after New Years.

I hate this time of year.

ditto

Malls are not my favorite places anyway, add alot of bargain crazed shoppers, and it's safer for everyone if I stay home.
Now if we could just keep them off the freeway.......

I went to a few places this afternoon (Best Buy, Staples, Costco, Home Depot) and none were worse than any other weekend. But, I bet all the good stuff was gone. Meh, I got what I wanted... Exciting stuff, too! Three digital, programmable thermostats and a 512MB SD card... Laughing

Laughing I know your pain Fox... I worked for about 3 yrs at C.C.

I don't know how it works now because I know they changed their commission structure, but I used to bring home about $5k a pay check from now until the end of the year. And it didn't require much selling, just cashering Laughing
