I'll admit when I am wrong... But does the offer of unmetered bandwidth just seem impossible? How can a company realistically offer that to thousands of customers?

In my ongoing arguments with the current host... Check this out:

http://forum3.midphasetalk.com/showthread.php?t=1980

They have just bumped all their low-end budget accounts from having various levels of metered bandwidth to ALL being unmetered.

Confused

LOL! Nice!!

They may have unmetered bandwidth, but you can only use the CPU cycles equal to that of a 386 sx/16 or they will suspend your account... Laughing

That host you use is a joke.

Spork is getting an account with these people to split between me and my friend (I think he's DigitalEclipse here).

$150/year, 4GB storage, 80GB/month. The server is running Linux, only downside so far is no ssh but I'll see how they work soon.

That place looks just a little bit fly-by-night...

I am probably going to the planet / server matrix very soon.

I know it does, but that's the host for Supernova.org and I think Spork knows someone at the host or at that site.

I doubt they'll take off before next year.

Hope they don't grow too fast, if they do take off... that is definitely what has happened at Midphase!

I just need to get the DSL card for my Cisco router and I'm going to be moving back to my server. Our host has pretty much ruined it for me to go to outside hosting....
