Sometime in the last week's time my laptop picked up a nasty rootkit, not sure how and where - but it was a bugger that took 3 days to get rid of. I would have reformated over the Vista OS with my copy of XP any other time, but my DVD drive ATA port took a dive awhile back(physically dead, only used the disc drive twice the whole time I owned the laptop.. ....meh.
Ohwell... I did get the PC room/office cleared out and cleaned over the course of 3 days of battling the rootkit. Before I could barely walk thru the room to my old desk that I gave away. I had (2) of the largest plastic tubs full of old PC parts and stuff that Charlie gave me years ago laid out in the room, plus (4) old computers.
Two new desks - sorta of a panorama, from right to left from the passage between the rooms, then one from the other desk.
