New laptop

Just picked up a new laptop, great price, good specs, however it's a little blingie... but was really the best buy I could find.

Asus G50Vt-X5

Intel P7450 2.13Ghz
4GB DDR2-6400
320GB 7200 RPM HDD
Nvidia 9800M GS w/512MB DDR3
15.6" Wide LCD

(No that's not me, click it it's a review on Cnet).

BB had it for $899... Seemed to be the best deal out there (specially when I had a $100 BB gift card).

I had looked at that one as well...also considered the refurbed Gateway that always seems to come up on SD. Good luck with that machine...in the end if it is too much for you, you can always skin it.

Never saw it in person but I thought it was part of the plastic lid on the cover and palm rests.
