I did some quick reading online and it looks like the 6800 is a pre-HDCP product. It seems like it is possible to make one, but that perhaps no one did.

Are you interested in seeing the video or just burning it? I think that might be a different issue...

Thank you for the quick response. I edited a video (Adobe CS3) shot on a HD camcorder (JVC GY-HD250) and want to burn it onto HD media. Does this mean I have to install a new HDCP enabled video card in order to burn edited HD video to HD media (Blu-Ray)?

Hmmm... hopefully someone else can chime in. Your response brings up another point I am unsure of... I always thought HDCP applied to sources like DVD / Blu-ray, satellite, and cable, and wouldn't have thought of it with home shot HD video.

But, I don't really know... Confused

Sorry man... this is an area I'm extremely gray on. However, I would think it's probably true you'd need to upgrade as the video card would need to display what you are looking at/editing.

That is JUST a guess though.
