Shipping Prices

Anyone ever shipped a computer (full tower)? I'm wondering just how feasible this is pending my move back to Seattle. Or perhaps I should just send the guts and pick up a case when I get there... that may be a bit better on the price.

Thoughts, suggesstions, hatemail?

I sent my case complete with guts, keyboard, klipsch, and cables from east coast to west coast for $90 via UPS 9 months ago. I'm heading back east in 3 weeks and have compared prices ... FedEx is cheapest right now Smile

A normal tower case with everything in it will cost about $15-20 FedEx express. $20 UPS, $35-$40 USPS.

I'd take the heatsink and fan off the CPU before sending it unless it's really puny.
