Does anyone have a suggestion for a free GPS/mapping/etc software for Windows Mobile 5?

I've been using Google Maps free software, but it is very weak on the GPS satellite connection, most of the time taking 5-10 mins to hit enuff birds to pinpoint my location - that is, if it even gets that far. It usually cant hit any.. On the positive side, when it did sync - it tracked pretty good using the 'net connection to load maps.

I had a eval software from some company late last year that nailed the birds in space in seconds, but it was about $300 for a license.

I'd like a new GPS app that I could load maps on the county or state level into my Pocket PC/Phone so it doesn't need to have cell connection. And also be able to hit the birds a heck of a lot faster than Google can. It doesn't need to have the "ammenity" location thing show what bars, hotels, etc is where - just the roads.

Suggestions??

System:
HP Ipaq 6945
Winblows Mobile 5
2gb storage (miniSD)
416mhz Intel

Not quite right, but this free GPS software for Windows and Linux works surprisingly well...
