unlocking 1.3AMD barton

ya'll are prolly sick of seening my name already Bad Air

as the subject says, im trying to get my 1.3 to a 1.8 or even higher. is this proc unlocked already and ready to be upped in multiplier?
do i need to mod my mobo at all?

We need to know a bit more on your setup.
What motherboard do you have and especially what is the stepping on your processor? Are you sure its a Barton core?

There is a web site that will decipher the code on your CPU. Unfortuniatly...I don't know it, maybe one of the other members can point you to it.

i am running iwill kd266 mobo(only one i could afford a yr back)
my processor is a barton for sure, but i dunno the stepping.
