OK.. sick of this mouse

I have the Logtech LX500 wireless mouse/keyboard. The problem is the mouse keeps burning through batteries (a pair of Duracell ultra's every 2 - 3 weeks it seems). And seems to be a bit flaky in it's communication. The keyboard works great though.

So, I'm looking for either a new wireless mouse with charger or a new keyboard/mouse set.

Suggestions? I'm going to be buying in the next week or so.

Logitech G7 or MX1000

My MX700 is rechargeable but I also found it could be flaky. And when the batteries die on your mouse after you've been sitting at your desk all day, thats annoying too. I went back to corded!

Logitech just came out with a new model that I've been eye-ball'n.. Wireless, rechargable w/cradle

probably what I'll get when I upgrade.

I am still sold on my MS Wireless Desktop 6000 I reviewed HERE The AA batteries that came with it lasted almost 6 months and both the keyboard and mouse are packed with features that I have become accustomed to and use a lot

I am about a month into a Logitech LX Revolution notebook mouse and it is the best I have ever used. The desktop Revolution MX is even more pimp and rechargable. Go check one out at the store and see what you think.

100 bucks for a mouse is about stupid though.

I hate the fact that wireless keyboards don't have LEDs....nothing worse than fraggin and accidentally hitting the CAPS LOCK and not knowing it
