I own one of the first models tagan launched (tg480-u01) and I'm very pleased with it. The other models seem to be also very promising and are very positively reviewed in various reviews.
About the problem you mentioned with not having a 120mm fan. Tagan has a psu series (the easycon XL) which is based on a 120mm fan design and is even modular.
But there is one major concern I want to post here. Although I’m very pleased with my own PSU and the review a read since than on Tagan PSU’s, the new Tagan turbojet series (the 900W and 1100W versions ending with U95) seem to have a major design fault. As I read in some review, they mentioned that testing the tg1100-u95 to his maximum, it could only provide somewhere between 700 and 800W. Which is way below the theoretical maximum of this supply. Something the enermax galaxy doesn’t have a problem with.
I’m not a specialist in electronics, so for those who want to know more about it, can read the links below. I hope that the one tested, was accidentally somewhat broke, but I’m afraid not.

No viewing their site, there is also a tg1100-U96 which has I think like six 12V lines while the U95 has only four. I hope this one does not have the same design fault as the later. |
