Maybe they fixed this buggy @ss browser.. seems like some days all it wants to do is cause errors and close. ...or is as sluggish as a 486 25mhz w/8MB of ram running WinXP

That's called either too much crap on HDD or defective hardware.

TRY to run Linux on a system that has a problem, it's unable to run properly for 30 mins. on one that hasn't, it's better than Windows.
