I just also put a sytem with an AMD 64 X2 in it. Mine is also stock for the moment. I was planning on trying a WC system that would cover my all the chips including the VGA's of which I have 2. Can a better fan do just as good as a WC system?

Some of the high-end air coolers with highspeed fans (loud) can keep up with entry to mid level water cooling systems. But if you build a high quality water rig that cooling you CPU and GPU's, you can get much lower temps with alot less noise.
A little example is my air cooler on my video card was running 40c idle at a room temp of 20c with a load of 65c. With it water cooled at the same room temp, it's idling at 28c with a load of 33c. And now there basicly no noise as all my radiator fans are running at 6v.

I am gearing more and more into W.C. kits, and sites like 3dgameman are very helpful along with your reply. But being this would be my 1st Liquid cooling kit, it makes it that more difficult to chose an ideal kit for my system. Any suggestions on what kit to go with would be more than welcomed.
