Some of the high-end air coolers with highspeed fans (loud) can keep up with entry to mid level water cooling systems. But if you build a high quality water rig that cooling you CPU and GPU's, you can get much lower temps with alot less noise.
A little example is my air cooler on my video card was running 40c idle at a room temp of 20c with a load of 65c. With it water cooled at the same room temp, it's idling at 28c with a load of 33c. And now there basicly no noise as all my radiator fans are running at 6v. |
