I stand corrected. Today the cures of the speaker hiss has hit my new speakers.

It is strange cause if I pause the system the hiss goes away then I start it and for 10 seconds the music sounds great. THen about 10 seconds in I get this hiss that is jsut always there. As soon as I pause it or turn it on and off the hiss goes away. But like clockwork 10 seconds in it starts again.

Jsut can't buy anything quality from Overstock.com

There is a reason why items end up on overstock.com. Nobody were buying them!! So they end up with an overstock and they sell them out to a company like overstock.com.

Update on speakers-
\
I came to figure out what the problem was. It seems that the speakers work fine as long as the IPOD backlight is on. When the backlight goes off I get a hum in the speakers that is very annoying. I have decided that because most of the good systems cost 150 dollars of more that I am goign to stick with the speakers that I got from Overstock.

I jsut go to my IPOD settings and put the backlight on "always" and I put it in the speaker dock and I am good. The speakers are pretty dran good for how compact they are. I can get some good loudness out of them and quality is really quirte good. You would be amazed. I jsut have to put up with the whole backlight issue. btu that is nto a big deal in the grand scheme of things. Plus I save myself a bunch of money.
