well if there are 2 cores running at 2.4 it gives you 4.8 so surely the 4800 in the proccesors name means 4.8ghz _________________ CPU: AMD x2 4800

AMD uses PR ratings for their chips, and although I can see your argument on the 4800, how does that apply to my 3200+ that runs a single core at 2000 MHz? Its all the effective power AMD thinks is being provided...
