ATA133 drive in 2000

If anyone remembers when VIA first released their BusMaster drivers, they were worse than the default drivers M$ included with their OS..

No luck yet. I've tried everything except the thing that will work. :p

I even went in the reg and changed it so that it showed up as being in DMA mode, but it was just as slow and it went back to PIO with a restart.

I'm just going to forget it, because I'll be putting a legit copy of 2000 on the main drive soon, and then I won't need it on the Maxtor. No need in worrying about now.
