I like Ubuntu and Gentoo. I had a show stopper of a problem in Ubuntu, and I didn't get any help in the forums, so I gave up on it. The Gentoo forums have all the information you will ever need and more, but it's a much harder distro to get up and running.

Generally, I'm moving away from Linux more to Macs (should have a new toy here soon, keep an eye out for pics... Wink ), the only Linux box left will be my server, and that will be up in the air if I can find a nice sawtooth G4 in good condition to be a server.

Cheeze... What did you download for CentOS? I went and looked at the latest versions to DL and I can't figure it out... Laughing - I was looking for the typical ISO images, but instead they had tons of folders... Was thinking of version 4.0, but may get 3.4 since that is what the server uses and I want to see it locally...

Here's a mirror: http://mirrors.cat.pdx.edu/centos/4.0/isos/i386/

Note that there is a folder called 'isos'... Grin

Got all the ISOs and I am now installing on my Daughter's machine... Laughing

These removable drive bays come in handy... Pop her WinXP out... Pop a blank cartridge in and I have a whole new machine to play with! Grin
