Anyone see anything lately? I turned the Ask Jeeves ads back on... And I honestly haven't see any pops period... just the way I like it.

Using Firefox and have not seen any, well from this site anyway. Some other sites have managed to get some by Firefox though.

They are sneaking them in with flash, I think. I use the adblock extension and have been training it to block most of the ad servers, so lately, 0 popups.

very nice...i am content with firefox i get a few but enough to handle...if it gets any worse i will kick it up a notch.

Using IE6 and Google Toolbar with pop-up blocker enabled.
I don't see no stinking pop-ups.....anywhere!
The animated ads are quite annoying tho Wink

yes they are...with firefox i only encounter popups at those sites that have program cracks...if you use those with a non sp2 IE you get raped by popups Laughing .

I could get rid of the animated ads with a firewall setting, but then I wouldn't be able to enjoy Hacks avatar of someone getting the crap beat out of them Laughing

If you guys see pop ups or overly animated ads let me know. Some may be annoying, but well, they keep the lights on.

What I do not like or want to see on here are the jittery, pulsing, flashing "You Won" or "Click Here for Free Stuff" kind of ads.

I saw one recently, not here, that was a "shoot the monkey" type of thing only you aimed a cops gun at a biker and it said "shoot the biker." That pissed me off when I saw it. I'm still upset about it. It's just wrong.
