This is actually really easy. Just go read the guide over at fordhack.blogspot.com . You can also get free mp3s for your ringtones. No spam, works every time.

Holy dead thread resurrection, batman!

BTW, Vulcan, my NGage QD still has free ring tones. Grin just use the MMC Card, move the files around and *bickety-bam* Porno bass line ring tone. Aww yeah. I also found that there are a lot of good, old 8-bit and other game music tunes from galbadia hotel that work well. There's nothing like using the Zelda forest tune (original Zelda for the SNES) or the EverQuest theme.

.....

ok...

Nowadays, buying ringtones for me is just out of question for me. My cellphone supports MP3 format songs as ringtone. If I want the whole song, I just set it as a ringtone, and if I want just a 2-min ringtone, then just edit it and store it. As simple as that.

I have a Blackberry CUrve now and it's even easier than the NGage, only the Blackberry has s#!7 connectivity for the bluetooth features. It won't play MP3s using the integrated player via bluetooth which means that I still use my NGage on my motorcycle as a glorified MP3 player.

Bonus, I can dial 911 still even though the phone service is deactivated (thank you feds!)

Free ring tones you may ask?!?! Well ever since I had found http://www.myxertones.com that is who I have stuck with. Most of their stuff is free as it is created by the users of MyxerTones, however not all of the time do I get my ring tones through them. Most of the time in fact, I just stick with editing an mp3 file into a 20-30 second clip since I am running Windows Mobile 6.1 Professional. Hope you enjoy the website I know I did!

With my razor i'm able to make my own ring tones, not sure if newer phones can still do this. Record a voice note, and then make that as your ringer. Does anyone know which cell phone maker is the loudest? My razor is very quiet. :/

It's extremely easy to make your own ringtones.

Just cut the songs you probably download for free with Audacity. Takes me <5 min to make any given ringtone.
