I might looked at that, when i get more thermal paste. However, i thought that the extra air from the 120mm might of helped cool the heatsink a bit more. It has cooler my graphics card by 10C.

Hellfire i have done as u said. With Cool N Quiet on, im idling at 41C, and underload it goes over 50C. Maybe its because my Athlon is the older Newcastle core, which does run warmer then Winchester core. Is my use of Arctic Silver 5 a wise choice? I been using Arctic Silver thermal pastes for a long time, so im hoping this new one is ok.

The Thermal Paste is alright FICo.
The thing you need to realize is.... you need a perfect amount of grease for things to work as you desire. Too much or too little and you'll overheat. If you have some time it always helps to try reseating a heatsink to bring down temps.

I have reseated it a few times when changing the fan's direction. Maybe im not putting the right amount of grease on (i did my best to follow the Arctic Silver 5 product website instructions on amount used). The best i can get is 35-36C at idle, with CNQ, and 50-55C under load. Although this is fine, no one else seems to report such a difference between Idle and full load. Prehaps the cooler just isnt suited to my case and motherboard?
