My Zenith

Scores high marks in forums and review places for a tv of this format and price range... I have it sitting in the living room, just admiring it with no power to it! Laughing

Thats a seriously cool TV!!!

found out what the serial port is too:

Calibration Port 1 (For Software Upgrade Only)

Oh and I like the sound of this!!!

Advanced Connectivity
Includes inputs for the most advanced components which allows simultaneous PC interactivity while watching your favorite TV programming.

That must be with the POP (or picture on picture) technology...

Yeah, the thing looks huge... but even though it isn't a true flat panel, I was able to get it in the house alone, and can easily carry the bare tv.

The PC connections are clearly marked as ready for 1080i and 720p, so it better look good... And I will definitely be using the "2-Tuner PIP/POP/Split Screen"

Grin

I may have a hard time keeping my newly delivered copies of COD and UT2K4 away... but they are supposedly bad for these, ehh? Burn in?

It's asytem where audio and video are combined into a single interface (a bit like spdif audio outputs).

I might purchase an hdtv tuner card soon. I heard that hd tv will become the TV standard in 2006 and I dont want to be left with old unuseable technology.

Once you get passed a buggy software install... I highly recommend the ATI HDTV Wonder! A guy at work had one too, but he now claims the MyHD card is way better (but more expensive).

Laughing It sucks... I have a 51" HDTV, but not HD signal coming into it Sad

Doesn't have a built in tuner, and I didn't want to pay the bling for the equipment to get it from the dish
