FOX, as BB said, you'll be fine as long as your buying exactly the same mem sticks. Supposedly the dual pack ones have been tested at the same time and are from the same silicon so they should preform exactly the same.

Why in theory it's correct, I haven't read any thing that either proved it or disproved it. And I would think at worst case you might get one stick that did 250FSB, and one that did 251FSB.... So... I wouldn't bother spending the money.

Considering Crucial now makes performance DDR, and does not sell it in matched pairs shoots a few holes in the need for matching theory.

I have two sticks of their Low Latency Ballistix DDR, and it rocks in Dual Channel... Grin
