Did you find your answer yet? I've asked my geek family and they didn't know
I forgot to ask Leo Laporte for you ... he'll know |

Have you tried a program called Aida32 ? You can find out the installation date and who knows what else I'm pretty sure it's a free download. |

Why would this be of interest to you anyways? _________________ - Jim |

I'm curious. M$ makes you activate it when you change some of the components (mainly an NIC card or such), or if you do it more than once every 3 months (like when my IBM HDD's went south right after a clean install, once on each of two drives)...... _________________ Two wrongs don't make a right!

I really hate their activation of Windows XP. While I understand why they do it, doesn't mean I have to be happy about it. Currently I own 3 copies of Windows XP Pro. Running Windows 2000 Pro on my fourth computer. When I build my next PC for my son, I'll have to purchase ANOTHER copy of Windows XP Pro |

I searched through the MS Knowledge Base every way I could think of and found nothing on how to find the date Windows XP was activated. |
