Forget the 'beer'... What is in the water up there?

Quote:
But now, it's brewed an even stronger Tokyo*, using jasmine, cranberries, malt and hops fermented with a champagne yeast.

This is a beer? Flowers and berries? No thanks...

Our hardcore beers are loaded with flavour, bite and body, so you drink less of them.

Industrially-brewed lagers are so bland and tasteless that you're seduced into drinking a lot of them.

What? bland tasteless beers make you want to drink more? While a good beer makes you want to drink less? That doesn't seem to work for me...

I see the argument they are attempting to make however they really do need a PR rep. When I drink it is usually to get a nice buzz and have a good time, so if I can get that same buzz in 3 beers instead of 9 then that works for me. However taste is a big factor and I would like to see if this beer tastes like a beer or instead like a wine as the ingredients sugggest. I am always down to try new beers therefore very tempted to order from their site: Brew Dog

Sam Adam's Utopias beer is 27% alcohol... ...18.2% is for amateurs.

I personally prefer drinking tequila over beer, but beer is good too. I am interested in trying this one out just for the sake of tasting it.

Mmmm... Jasmine and cranberries, that doesn't sound too bad. I think after just one I would probably be flat on my back though. Crazy
