I definitely like Acronis. I am still on version 10, mostly because the bulk of what I want to do is offered free in Seagate's Disk Wizard... which is made by Acronis. As long as one of the drives in your system is a Seagate or Maxtor, Disk Wizard will work.

For scheduling backups and more advanced stuff like FTP backups, I use a free application called SyncBack SE.

Acronis is good, but I tried the new version (2009) and it is bloated with extra crap IMO...but if you wanna geek it up, try CloneZilla...it is free also.

I also use Acronis and like it a lot. Modulok is right though, feature bloat is beginning to rear its ugly head.

I've also successfully used CloneZilla many times, but only to clone disks or partitions, which works fine as a back up, but can be overkill for many.
