Aside from changing alot of the components im gonna use, i think, unless i happen to come across a gtx 295 for free, im gonna build pc and just use an old hd 2600xt gpu card i got as there are alot of reports suggesting that dx11 cards from both nvidia and ati will bwe out by the end of the year. This should bring 295 prices down and there will be newer better cards out so i think ill wait for one of them lol Smile.

New details of system are :-
Coolermaster HAF 932
I7 920
NorthQ 850w Blk Magic Flex
2x 500gb Seagate 7200.12 (RAID0)
6gb DDR3 1333/1600 RAM
Gigabyte UD4P Mobo
Windows 7 RC
And the best gpu i can get hold of for nothing basically lol.

Hopefuly get this soon Smile. But dont know when lol.

Any comments??

I wish I could hold myself till DX11 will be out, but I just don't have the patience and already planning on upgrading my old 8800GTX to a new GTX285 in a month or so... Rolling Eyes Grin

Really? A single board 295? I didn't know that? Do you mean it'll be just like the 285, but with a 296 performance? Where did you hear this?

Itll be almost identicle to the dual pcb 295 except itll have a dual chip on a single board and a slightly higher memory clock of 1100 compared to 1000.

Admittidley though all ive read says it supposed to be out by the end of may and we are into june so not entirely sure with it lol. If its true itll be so much easier to water cool and slightly cheaper id hope cos of production costs lol Smile

Thanks. I've already found a bit more info and from what I read, we shouldn't expect too mcuh, as it should perform quite the same and even the price (according to what I read) should be more or less the same.

Unfortunately, I don't have that much to spend, so I think I'll settle down on a nice GTX275 or GTX285, which I'm planning to buy in a month or so... Rolling Eyes Wink

I dont mind about the performance but i think the proce will come down abit more with manufacturing processes if im able to wait a bit. Plus may just wait till Dx 11 near the end 9of the year with 5xxx ATI cards and GTX 3xx nvidia cards early next year for windows 7 lol Smile. Have to wait and see though, depends how i feel when i find some cash :s

Yeah, it is tempting to wait till the end of the year for the new nVidia GTX3xx cards to arrive that will support FX11. But like I said, I just can't anymore to upgrade already my 8800GTX... Laughing

Lol, fair enough, im contemplating it still. Knowing my luck it will be around that time beore i can buy anything as no one will employ me at the minute lol. And being a student doesnt really make you you highest choice for work Sad. Have to see. Need a new setup soon though as my current keeps breaking lol :s. Quite like the look of the single pcb 295 though, just depends on if it gets it to the top ati card price range.
