Indeed.
While I agree that that ATi "contest" was no more than a spam fest, I would say that it's hard to spam in an ideas contest, especially when most of the posts were along the same theme!
Anyway, I felt the need to register here after seeing that I was mentioned  I certainly didn't expect to win the competition as my luck always sucks, but in the end, a 2 sentence post (And I only posted once before the contest ended) somehow won.
So, to anyone disheartened by the recent competitions at DH, don't be, most of them have quite a good chance of winning when you consider the odds. Also, may I ask your username on DH x.clay? |

Hi Stop It - Congrats on the win!!! I thought you had a decent idea and it was different from most of the ideas that were posted (DDR5 memory, better cooling, higher clocks, single slot coolers, etc.) which is probably what got it noticed. My user name on all the tech forums is x.clay. Not too creative but it keeps it easy to remember. I only post on DH for the competitions. I didn't enter the last ATI contest but I remember their being grumbling after the Zotac 9800 gtx contest. I didn't really think the winning entries for that one were especially good but if thats what DH and Zotac picked then thats fine - Its their contest to run as they see fit.
Glad to hear from one of the DH winners. I hope they ship your prize quickly  |

It's from an old Cartoon in the UK Stoppit and Tidyup, I decided to correct the spelling a bit as it looked a bit too silly as it was though. I have been using it since 2000 now, I'm not creative enough to think of a new username
Anyway, thanks for the welcome here, it's a not bad looking site too
Finally, I got a PM yesterday with a UPS shipping number, I should receive the card at my workplace today, yey  |
