I can agree with Browser on some of his points, but I also have to agree with Jason about the 'sponsored review' issue.

I want to believe that each review here in BigBruin as well as in other forums are objective and not affected by sponsors. Whenever I feel a review is a 'sponsored' one, I usually don't even finish reading the review and never take serisouly any other reviews from this site/source.

I really FEEL and BELIEVE that the reviews here at BB or not 'sponsored reviews'. Smile

I'm going to revive this dead thread and add that this harddrive continues to work well - no noise, or other issues have become apparent.

I'm also glad to point out that we now monitor drive temperature during our HD reviews to better address the question of long term reliability.
