I had to shoehorn a 295 video card in to the new 'stealth' case that a friend bought and kindly asked me to put together for him. The case was awesome til I tried to run cables neatly. Absolutely impossible to keep the innards neat on that, no matter how many zip ties you use. Putting the 295 card in was OMGFrustrating. The card has about 1.5 mm of space between it and the drive cage once it's installed. Naturally, the DVI ports stick out and it was very hard to get in to place. Oh, and the cage is not removable. Happy, happy, joy, joy.
If anyone out there is getting a stealth bomber case, remember that it's equally cool n' quiet, and frustrating if you have a larger video card. |
