After the first round the teams are re-seeded, so the Rangers could be the next round opponent for Boston... Unless they blow it, and then it could be anyone but NJ or Washington next.

Didn't know that. Learn something new everyday Grin How do they re-seed, based on goals, losses, seems like wins are out because they all will have 4?

Must think positive, although if the Rangers don't win Sunday, it's going to be tough.

It is just the highest seed plays the lowest seed... So, even if people put out brackets like this:

http://www.cbssports.com/nhl/playoffrace/bracket

The playoffs don't follow them.

Could be the first Bruins / Rangers playoff matchup since before I was born. That would be cool. I wonder if people would throw things at me if I went to Madison Square Garden in a Bruins jersey. They're brutal to me at the Devil's arena.

I understand now, the lowest seed team has to constantly play the highest after every round. As to whether they'll throw things at you or not, it's NY/Boston, you already know the answer to that one. Wink

LOL - now the Rangers have to go without their coach...

http://www.nhl.com/ice/news.htm?id=420130

Maybe he felt the need to create some nonsense since Sean Avery didn't play that game.

The Sharks and Big Bird Joe Thornton are perfect together. I was pissed when Boston traded him away, but it made sense quickly.
