I have seen this phrase written incorrectly twice now in the past few days, so today's lesson is on "intents and purposes".

It is not "intensive purposes" and it is not "intense purposes".

Thank you! Smile

Anyone else have a lesson they would like to share?

They're = They are
Their = possession
There = place

I've seen this one before and it bugs me...

ACCEPTABLE:

First of all
First off

NOT ACCEPTABLE:

First of off

I'm sure I have more; I'll just need to think of them.
