Sweet. Ford get's the shaft though, they own Cummings but because of a contract with Dodge in place before Ford bought them Dodge gets to use Cummings instead of Ford.

Isn't that the truth. I would love to see a Chevy HD w/Cummins. Apparently Ford has a new 6.4l TD option. Hopefully it is better than the 6.0l. In anycase, they are all better than my old GM 6.5l TD. Smile

That Turbo 6.6l Durmax is pretty sweet. Between that and the Alison tranny my truck hauls 8000lbs of trailer like it's nothing.

Yea my truck has the new 6.4 TD motor... It's all set up for Ultra Low Sulfer Deisel and has some pretty odd/unique things going on. I read somewhere that Ford gave BP 30 of these new SD trucks with the 6.4 to test in Prudhoe Bay (North Slope Alaska) and they performed flawlessly. These folks leave the trucks running ALL WINTER LONG... otherwise they will not start till July.

Did I mention the new 6.4 TD puts out 650 Ft Lbs of torque at only 2000 rpm??? Hehehe...
