I have a dual headed AGP card and currently run two 17" monitors.
Sitting in my pile of parts I also have a 16 meg PCI video card and a decent 15" monitor.
Would it work? Could I extend my desktop into a 3-way?
WinXP Pro, if it matters. |

I've done it. As a matter of fact I've had 6 monitors at once. It was a project for a stock broker... _________________

Hopefully, when I get settled into my new place soon, I plan on getting a quad-PCI video card, for all my 15" LCDs, and use my 9800 Pro for my 22" monitor

Yeah, WinXP is actually pretty good about multiple displays and how to set the up. _________________

Yeah. Only poblem I'm having as of late is, my comp seems to wanna "dump" Matrox drivers with my 9800 pro as the Primary display. *sigh*
Solution? I'm getting an ATI-based PCI video card to compliment the 9800, so that there's no compatability probs in the future |
