 | The Leadtek Winfast TV2000 XP Deluxe is a feature-rich TV tuner that will allow any computer with an available PCI slot to enjoy TV, as well as capturing capabilities, and digitally tuned FM radio... The picture is clear and sharp, and perhaps due to the higher resolution of a monitor (compared to a tube TV), the picture looks better than on my standard TV. - The Review |

Useing the Winfast2000 expert card here, found it to be an exceptionally good card for its cost (doesn't do onboard mpeg/mpeg2, but what sub $200AU card does?) but you neglect one option that most people will be useing (for serius capture work), full frames AVI.
At this quality you can then use your favurite compresser (tmpgenc for me) to resize, recompress and chop the video however you like, be warned though, those 2x 40G drives will not last long, as one half hour show weighs in at about 8-10G at VCD quality (352x288) res. |
