errr i dont know about those... they do raise one side of the cpu higher than the other (wouldnt want anything getting cracked... i'll stick with the old method hehe)

Lost Circuits has a similar review up but they didn't seem too happy with the idea; They also have an alternative that looks interesting

That's pretty cool! I never knew it was that easy to unlock a CPU. Something for me to try in the future. I have a solder iron and solder so I'd just go ahead and do it. I'd have to find a reliable source to know what pin to connect where though. Laughing But it's nice that it can be done with a simple strip like that.
