The new ATI 3.8 drivers seem to be killing cards and monitors..

Been reading about this all morning. Seems to be a lot of disagreement on it. However enough people are reporting problems that when my 9600 Pro get here (hopefully today) I think I will install the Cat 3.7 drivers to be safe until this all shakes out.

I've always liked the way nVidia has done their drivers... supporting almost every GeForce card they have created to this day...

I've always had trouble with ATI's drivers, but they've made a lot of progress since 2 yrs back.
