| I was wondering if this heatsink/fan is useable with a pentium 4 530? (3.0) ghz ....i know it doesnt say so but i already purchased it so im curious....its the g-power cooler |

Hi - And welcome!
I don't see why not! It does support the right format, LGA 775, and I have run a hotter / faster chip with it. Right now my G-Power cooler is on an overclocked D840 (dual core 3.2GHz) at 3.6GHz. You should be fine, just get ready for some noise if you run at full speed!! _________________ Sometimes I laugh so hard that the tears run down my leg!

thanks for your help i was also wondering if that heatsink will work with this motherboard........
ASUS P5ND2-SLI
it looks like there are a bunch of little core thingies by the prosessor that might interfere with the base of the cooling unit |
