Silenx (www.silenx.com) has a fanless PSU with one pot on the rear of the psu... I am trying to review that one now... Getting some EMI it seems, that messes with monitor... But, I can crank the 5V rail from 5.11V at load up to 5.40V... not sure why I would want to, but it may come in handy one day. _________________

I've heard that the fan on that PSU is quite loud. I'm considering the SLI certified version of that PSU but I don't want it to be to loud. _________________ Nothing says good job like a firm open palmed slap on the behind. |

I can't hear them.... they are not the loudest fan in any of my systems. I can't say I've ever noticed them. _________________

Have PC Power&Cooling stopped making cases? My present desktop, built for me last October, has a PCP&C case and one of their PSUs but I don't see cases on their website any more.
I wanted to check with them about the non-functional front panel USB sockets. |

Thanks EC I'll give it a shot. The only fans I will have in my case are three 120's and three 80's. So hopefully it won't be to bad _________________ Nothing says good job like a firm open palmed slap on the behind. |
