Well I just got one under -advmethods. We will see how long they take on these Opterons as compared to the Phenom II x4. _________________ A Muslim being a terrorist is like a hard drive failing. It is not a matter of if, but a matter of when.

Damn! I need to reconfigure!
But - on a positive note I did just hit 3,000,000 points! _________________ Sometimes I laugh so hard that the tears run down my leg!

Yes, and congratulations on that, but we need you up with Mr. Weasel. I noticed you had a 470 on 2010-03-17. The only 470 is the 6012 which is a smp2 job. You did not get the bonus points. Do you have the requisite units under your belt and do you fold ALL GPU and SMP with the same user name and passkey? Here for the SMP2 units Quick Return Bonus Plan Qualifications is where they explain it, in effect;
"1. Run the latest SMP client (v6.29 or above).
2. Configure that client with a passkey.
3. Complete 10 a2 and/or a3 work units...
a. within their preferred deadlines
b. using the same passkey and fah user name combination
c. on one or more of your systems.
4. Successfully return >=80% of assigned [bonus] WU's."
As detailed above and below, these units (-smp -advancedmethods) get bonus points.
Unit,, Credit K Factor
6012 470 2
6013 380 3.36
6014 484 2.1
6015 484 2.1
6020 467 2
6021 476 2.1
6023 475 2.1
6024 474 2.1
6025 483 2.1
And are your VM's producing anything? _________________ A Muslim being a terrorist is like a hard drive failing. It is not a matter of if, but a matter of when.

Started up that i7-920 again. I am leaving it at its "default" 2.8Ghz OC. Currently it is doing a -BigAdv at about 43:06 average per frame for 26 frames. That would give about 50K for 3 days at about 17K per day. _________________ A Muslim being a terrorist is like a hard drive failing. It is not a matter of if, but a matter of when.

My VMs are now off again.
I never set a passkey - that really helps you? How? _________________ Sometimes I laugh so hard that the tears run down my leg!

You will only get the bonus points if you use a passkey. If you have never used a passkey then you will have to do 10 (A2s and/or A3s) with a passkey before you will qualify for the bonus points. Both SMP2 and bigAdv require a passkey for the bonus points.
To get a passkey; Folding@home Passkey FAQ
Recommend to NOT do 10 -BigAdv for your qualifiers. |

Well it is good to see that the Big Bruin server's are working. After this mornings I/O failure on the ramdisk wiped out a completed unit ( 70M written of 100m in memory) and then sat for 7 hours trying to get a new one, I tried a -advmethods unit and after that completed I tried -bigadv again. I got one but it failed after 1% with a 255 error and could not send it and not get a new one. Also, no -advmethod available, not even the info to tell what server to get it from("No appropriate work server was available"). So back to the 1920s. It has done about 5% at 13K ppd. So no bonuses for me. Anybody else have any problems? _________________ A Muslim being a terrorist is like a hard drive failing. It is not a matter of if, but a matter of when.

I was also expecting Mr Acruxksa to pop one up this morning but no deal. Did you have any problems? _________________ A Muslim being a terrorist is like a hard drive failing. It is not a matter of if, but a matter of when.

Looks like KakaoStats is down. The message on the site is "I'm sorry. KakaoStats is broken. No prevision for a fix." _________________ A Muslim being a terrorist is like a hard drive failing. It is not a matter of if, but a matter of when.
