Geeks.com Mini USB 2.0 LED Projector with Tripod

The Geeks.com mini USB 2.0 LED projector was able to project an image of decent quality up to - and beyond - the specified 50 inches maximum, and all that had to be done was to connect it to a PC via USB. Still images looked very good, and I was pleasantly surprised to see it keep pace with video at 30 frames per second.

OK, I bought one of these puppies, but it won't focus - at least, for the life of me, I can't figure it out, and I'm a mechanical engineer.

So, before I dismantle it, how did you do it?

Hi, and welcome from another ME!

The ring around the lens spins for focus. Mine was kind of loose, so you may not be able to lock in the focus perfectly, but it worked OK for me. Whether I made the screen 12" or 50"+ I was able to get a decent focus.

I was afraid to force it. Turns out, mine was screwed in very tight at close focus.
