Taking a short break before I go see Cooler Master in about an hour. Here are a few things from today.

Continuing mobile stuff, a lot of focus on protecting the devices. This ranges from skins to glass screen protectors. Radio Shack is even getting into the business with a line of glass screen protectors.

OtterBox and Pelican are a few that are designing cases to protect iPhone and S3 from all sorts of damage. Problem with these is it's only certain devices and specific looks.

Now there are companies that are going to implement water protection at the manufacturing level making it 100% water proof. Many demonstrations of phones being used and then dropped into water, beer, wine and kool aid. Then taken out wiped off with a towel and continuing to be used. This is highly interesting and something to watch for. Sony has their new phone all set to use this process.

But what about other devices and ones that don't implement this into the manufacturing process. Enter Hz0. For $60 you can send them your phone and they'll water proof it for you and mail it back. It takes them 30 minutes to do it, and then you have your shipping timeframe. So fastest would be....3 days. 1 day there, 1 day to protect, and 1 day ship back. They hope to get Kiosks at local malls and other retailers so this can be immediately.

Afterglow
