I have a pair of 4870's (Dark Knight TOP), running crossfire (I think) at 1920x1200, I have to run AA at 2x or off, otherwise it can get choppy.

Overall an interesting game though Smile

Both Crysis and Crysis Warhead worked more than fine on the highest settings on my Q6600 and 8800GTX Video Card.

I think that with any Dual-Core CPU, 2GB of RAM and a 8800GT/9800GT or HD4850, Crysis should work just fine... Smile

The performance really depends on your FPS tolerance. My Athlon64 x2 4200+, 2 Gigs of RAM, and 8800GT performed acceptably for me at 1280x1024 on high for both Crysis and Warhead. The snow levels are the only exception though, had to drop some settings down to keep it smooth.

Yeah. so 'snow' parts were a bit heavy also on my Q6600/8800GTX on 1680x1050 with HIGH settings...

my 9800 gt struggled with the end of Crysis on the air craft carrier on high settings. I don't normally run FRAPS but that was only part of the game that I noticed a real performance hit.

I've seen that most cards take a performance hit over the 1600x1200 resolution.

just sold my 9400gt and it plays well enough for me in crysis all medium at 1440x900.

well enouh for me is to say that i graduated doom3 with more or less 20frames average..

my onboard video card right now cannot open crysis...(i guess this is because the intel gma 3100 has no vertex shader)i graduated the game with x800pro anyway...lol

I beat this game three hours after I purchased it off steam, story line was good. The ending would had been amazing if we could go back to the island and finish off the aliens.
