Quote:
Hayward, CA (March 18, 2005) – DFI, maker of the award-winning LANParty and LANPartyUT series of motherboards, is pleased to announce that the company’s new nForce4 SLI chipset based motherboards overwhelm the Top 20 Systems in the 3DMark05 Hall of Fame. Chosen by the PC enthusiasts worldwide, the new LANParty NF4 SLI-DR and LANPartyUT NF4 SLI-D motherboards turbo charge 15 of the top 20 most powerful SLI configurations and 4 of the top 5 systems in the Hall of Fame!

Scoring an incredible 12,280 in 3DMark05, the first place winning team selected DFI’s SLI motherboard as the foundation for their quest to be number one in the world.

“Dominating the great majority of the Hall of Fame Top 20 Systems shows that DFI’s SLI based motherboards are the only motherboards that can deliver unparallel hardware performance in a SLI set up,” said James Chang, Director of Product Management. “DFI’s popularity among the leading enthusiasts is a great validation for the engineering that went into making the SLI motherboards, and we want to congratulate all the teams for their outstanding achievement.”

34DMark05 is a premium benchmark for evaluating the latest generation of gaming hardware. For the complete information on 3DMark05 Hall of Fame, please visit

Sounds pretty good, but SLi hasn't even peaked yet, would this mean we have scores of 15000 to go? or maybe 20000?

That just reminded me the first time I saw a 20 K in "MadOnion's" 3DMark2001... Bad Air while my GF2 MX 400 barely coughed up a 3K... I resisted to believe there could be a video card that could do something like that...

now I've had one of those that got to 20K (9700) for a while, and have never had the patience/skills to get it to 20K... mehh... as long as it runs the games, it's ok...
